For anyone wanting gentle acreage in the mountains for a farm or residential serenity come see this land. Follow the directions below and go walk it yourself for a delightful mountain afternoon. I’ve always loved Todd for its pristine natural beauty. This land is remarkable for its gentleness, so rare in the mountains. Every inch of this land is usable as it lies in the center of an enormous mountain valley surrounded by ridgelines giving it a picturesque alpine quality almost like Switzerland. This is a working farm with a livable home, multiple outbuildings, garages etc. Two good-sized streams bisect property. The owner has constructed a good size trout pond for anyone who might wish to stock it. He’s also dug out another home site and sunk the footers on one corner of the land. Walking the property today I was amazed at how many potential home sites one could split off of this property considering how much state hwy frontage it contains. It was wonderful walking the boundaries of this land listening to the sounds of nature, the streams gurgling, the wind whistling in the woods, horses running. It made me nostalgic for the nights in Todd when we first moved here from Chicago fifteen years ago to look up on any given night and see the heavens ablaze in starlight. With no light pollution in Todd, there is only the black velvet night sky and the blazing stars above. A more sublime experience I can’t imagine. Come take a look at this beautiful mountain farm.
